When we use our recliners and get up from them, they move and scratch the floor. Is there anything we can put under the feet of the furniture to keep them from moving?

How do I keep my furniture from moving on wood floors

I have used the sticky foam that is for laying under carpets and had pretty good luck with it. I actually rolled one of the throw carpets back and cut a few random squares from the pad (not enough to notice).

Also, you could try the sticky foam that is made for lining shelves and cabinets.

The home improvement stores sell little rubber cups that your funitures' legs will fit into. These cups will not slide on wood floors.

Alternatively, you also stick little rubber feet onto the bottom of your furnitures' legs.

if you do not want to slide around then do not get the felt things. We have wood floors and the same problem. We have bought the rubber things at walmart and those are just cheap and they did not really work at all! I will try the ones the other reviewer suggested at lowes/home depot though, maybe they are better quality.

at your local hardware store they have rubber cups, they are about the size of reese is peanut butter cup, same color too.
i would also check the botom of your furniture is feet to make sure there are no nails sticking through, also if the plastic thingies(teflon glides) look mangled or used you should replace them aswell.
