What color walls goes with crimson furniture

u should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something u like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that u can search by color family & color name, the ''painted'' rooms look the most realistic, & it suggests coordinating color schemes. The color ''leather bound'' (# 6118) looks gorgeous with bright red. Anything would make a good accent color - hunter green, navy, yellow, white.

Chocolate brown.
Dark sage green.
Blue gray.
Bronze (metallic).

Definately the soothing greys and sage greens are the go for a restful living room. I love the already supplied. I wouldnt add any more bold colours or it will look a bit preschool ish. If you like the idea of soft greys then why not be daring and paint the skirting black. Black would definately be the 10 colour. be careful with the grey you dont want it to look like a navy ship! I also have ''crimson'' sofa & love seat in my living room & I painted a medium mocha color with off white trim- I LOVE it! The pillows on the sofas & the rug under the coffee table have some of the same mocha in them as well as some chocolate brown & tan. All the wood is dark, except the hardwood floors which r light (not my choice- the house came with them). I DO have one room- my grandson is room which is the medium maocha on the bottom, a lighter sand color on top with a 14'' crimson border around the middle separating the browns- it all matches their comforters. They also have dark wood furniture. it looks AWESOME. Have fun with it!

Option 1: A sage green for the walls & a butter yellow for accents (10).

Option 2: an olive green for the walls & a cornflower blue for the accents. Break the flow of the color with white for a neutral in throw pillows or end tables and/or an area rug.

I know these colors might sound odd, but they r Triad color schemes.

Go to ur local paint store & pull color strips with these colors on them, set the color strips side by side to decide on which tone/shade will work for you.

60- taupe/neutral color or even a light gray. i love red furniture, it is what i have!
10- a shade of neutral color that is so light it is almost white. like an ivory..
